Third Brooki-mage-e; through her eye. // week 3 \
[ Taken with a Canon Rebel Ti1 & with a 18mm-55mm lens. ]
Who’s the women in the reflection? Not only does it look like a mystery with the reflection in the water but it is a mystery to the viewer. The answer lies only with the photographer.
The leaves represent a verse Proverbs 11:28, “Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.”
Growing up, my mother quoted this verse over and over to me and it became a promise to me; that if I stayed true to my Heavenly Father, I would thrive like a green leaf like God promises.
The lady in the yellow scarf is my mother, and the leaves represent how she quoted Proverbs to be growing up and how thankful I am she pushed me towards the cross no matter what I was going through.

Be Great. xx.

Second Brooki-mage-e; through her eye. // week 2 \
Taken with a Canon Rebel Ti1 & with a 18mm-55mm lens.
It inspires me to create and keep my creative juices flowing.  As a Graphic Design major, i work more with my mouse and computer then with the traditional paint and paint brushes, but when I do, rest assured, it’s a heck of a good day.  I spent a whole day painting with four of my closest friends from high school. The paint also represents the lovely conversation we had catching up like old times.

First Brooki-mage-e; through her eye. // week 1 \
This photo represents the countless times my family opened our doors this holiday season. Whether it was for a family dinner around the dinner table, visiting friends from out-of-town, family friends brining dinner as a gift for my recovery, a lovely competitive game of mexican trains, birthday festivities, or to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, my parents practiced the gift of hospitality.
This door represents more to me than just a passage way into a home. It’s the opening of good times, a friendly smile, a set of “hello’s & good-byes” & most importantly, a place where i can be with my family.
I am blessed. xxx

About

2011. //Photo Blog.\\
An inside view through Brooke Janell’s eye's.
I decided throughout the whole year of 2011 I would upload one photo a week. This will challenge me to take photos and learn something new about photography, or about the Creator I serve, Jesus Christ, and how magnificent his creation is. Be Inspired. xx
